Biography

Zhongsheng Guo obtained his doctoral degree in 2004 from Northwestern Agricultural & Forestry University and is a professor at Northwestern Agricultural & Forestry University, China. His research focuses on plant ecology and soil and water conservation. He has conducted research on the sustainable use of natural resources and high-quality agricultural development. His work includes theories related to plant resource-use limits, vegetation carrying capacity, critical periods of plant-resource relationship regulation, and soil and water conservation. These theories provide a theoretical basis for the high-quality development of forests, grasslands, agriculture, and soil and water conservation. He is also the Head of the “Innovation China” Agricultural High-Quality Production and Industry Service Group.
