Sylvain Ntambo Mbuya

Biography

Sylvain Ntambo Mbuya holds a Ph.D. in Crop Science with specialization in Plant Protection from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Fuzhou, China. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Kolwezi and a lecturer at the University of Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo. An accomplished researcher, Dr. Ntambo Mbuya has authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications in internationally recognized journals and publishers, including Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio), the American Phytopathological Society, the British Society of Plant Pathology, Elsevier, Frontiers, Entomology, Wiley, and Oxford Academic. He regularly applies his expertise to address challenges related to plant protection and sustainable crop production. Prof. Mbuya is also an active reviewer for several international scientific journals, including MDPI journals, PeerJ, The Open Agriculture Journal (ScienceDirect), Trends in Horticulture, Current Trends in Biotechnology and Applied Biochemistry, Journal of Pest Science, Asian Soil Research Journal, Asian Journal of Advances in Research, Journal of Immunology, and Journal of Biotechnology. His research interests focus on integrated pest management, plant health, and sustainable agricultural systems.
