Biography

Rostam Yazdani Biouki is a faculty member at the National Salinity Research Center in Iran with over ten years of professional experience in research and academic activities. His main research focus is on medicinal plants, particularly their tolerance to salinity stress under different environmental conditions. He has conducted and published numerous studies on the salinity tolerance thresholds of various medicinal plant species. His work has contributed to a better understanding of the adaptation and cultivation potential of plants such as Ajwain, Licorice, milk thistle, chicory, purslane, ajwain, hyssop, and Damask rose in saline environments. His research supports sustainable agriculture in salt-affected regions.
