Biography

Mr. M. Prabhaharan is a Senior Lecturer (Grade I) and Head of the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka, a role he has held since 2015. He holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture from the University of Jaffna and an M.Sc. in Post-harvest and Food Engineering. He began his academic career at the university as a temporary lecturer in 2001 and has taught undergraduate agricultural engineering since 2004. He has served as Student Counsellor, chaired technical evaluation committees for farm equipment under the agriculture and technology study programmes, and represented the Faculty Board in the University Senate.
