Biography

Mukul Machhindra Barwant, Ph.D. is associated with the Department of Food Science and Nutrition, School of Sciences, Sanjivani University, Kopargaon, Maharashtra, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Phycology and has research interests in marine macroalgae, seaweed biotechnology, phycochemistry, nutraceuticals, plant biotechnology, and environmental biotechnology. His research focuses on the sustainable utilization and value addition of seaweed biomass and its potential applications in food, health, agriculture, and environmental sustainability. He has contributed extensively to research publications, book chapters, peer review, and academic editorial activities.
