Ludmila I. Pusenkova is a Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor, and Leading Researcher at the Bashkir Research Institute of Agriculture, a subdivision of the Ufa Federal Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Federation. She has conducted research in agricultural sciences with a focus on plant–microbe interactions, beneficial endophytic bacteria, crop growth and development, and plant responses to environmental stresses. Her research particularly investigates Bacillus subtilis and its potential applications in improving crop growth, stress tolerance, plant health, and agricultural productivity. She has contributed to studies involving potato, common bean, and other agricultural crops, including research on microbial inoculation, plant physiological and biochemical responses, crop quality, and resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses. Her work supports the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly approaches for improving crop production and plant resilience. She has published research in areas including potato production, plant–microbe interactions, endophytic bacteria, crop stress physiology, and sustainable agricultural biotechnology.
