Biography

Ma. Ysalou R. Agbayani is a College Instructor at Isabela State University with an academic background in both the biological sciences and education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of the Philippines Baguio and completed her Master of Arts in Education at Northeastern College.

As an educator and researcher, Ms. Agbayani is committed to advancing scientific knowledge and fostering academic excellence among her students. Her research interests focus on Biological Sciences and Natural Products, particularly in exploring their applications and contributions to health, environmental sustainability, and scientific innovation. Her dedication to research and scholarly communication was recognized when she received the Best Presenter Award at  the International Conference on Integration of Science and Technology for Sustainable Development 2024 in Thailand.

Through her teaching, research, and extension endeavors, Ms. Agbayani continues to contribute to the development of science education and the promotion of evidence-based research in the Philippines.
