Biography

Dr. J. C. Tarafdar did his M. Sc. and Ph. D. degrees in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi and Post Doctorate from Institute of Agricultural Chemistry, Goettingen, Germany. He has successfully developed biosynthesized nano-nutrients and nano-induced polysaccharide powder for agricultural use. Pioneered innovative techniques are now standard in soil biology research. Dr. Tarafdar published 409 research articles which include 50 book chapters, six books and four patents. He has >14500 citations with 57 h-index. He has been placed amongst the top 2% scientists, across all sciences in the world, by Stanford University, USA.
