Biography

Dr. Iqtidar Hussain, Professor in the Department of Agronomy at Gomal University since 2014, earned his PhD in Agronomy (plant sciences) from the same institution. He has enhanced his skills as a keynote speaker, resource person, and organizer at national and international events. A member of the Soil Science Society of Pakistan, Weed Science Society of Pakistan, Pakistan Botany Society, and Pakistan Allelopathy Society, he has published 145 research articles globally with impact factor about 90. Previously, he served 17 years as a Teacher and Subject Specialist and 12 years as an Assistant Professor at Gomal University. Dr hussain edited 3 books & also wrote 2 books chapter. He supervised 2 PhD scholars and 10 M.Phil scholars.
