Biography

I am José Antonio Valles, Ph.D., a National Researcher in Technology and Engineering affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation (CONACYT). I hold a degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Engineering. My work focuses on Food Logistics, transport engineering, and the data-driven optimization of infrastructure systems. Throughout my career, I have contributed to research in food supply chains, smart systems, and sustainable infrastructure, publishing in international indexed journals and serving as a reviewer for high-impact publications. I also collaborate on applied engineering projects through AVYASA Food Logistics and serve as a faculty member at Instituto Tecnológico Superior Progreso, where I promote the integration of artificial intelligence into engineering practice.
