Chukwudi Ernest Ogbete is a Food Scientist and Postharvest Technology researcher at the National Root Crops Research Institute, Umudike, Nigeria. He holds degrees in Food Science and Technology and is currently engaged in advanced research in food processing, postharvest systems, and value addition of root and tuber crops. His research interests include cassava processing, sweet potato product development, functional foods, probiotic food systems, and sustainable agri-food innovation. He has contributed to research collaborations, technical presentations, and scientific publications focused on improving food quality, reducing postharvest losses, and promoting food system sustainability in Africa and beyond.
